Everitt Memorial Highway closed at Bunny Flat (6,950'). Bunny Flat trailhead is open — you can drive to the parking area. Northgate Trailhead is now open and accessible by vehicle. Other trailheads require extended approaches: Brewer Creek is ~1.3 miles out and Clear Creek ~2 miles out. Sand Flat is closed for winter. Panther Meadows campground closed.
Partially open to vehicles. Section 1 (Loomis Plaza to Devastated Area, 10 miles) is open to vehicles and hike/bike travel. Section 2 (Southwest Entrance to Sulphur Works, 1 mile) is cleared and open for hike/bike but not yet open to vehicles. Section 3 (Sulphur Works to Bumpass Hell/Lassen Peak parking, 6–7 miles) is now cleared and open for hike/bike (watch for fallen rocks and ice); active clearing toward vehicle opening continues. Section 4 (Lassen Peak to Devastated Area) remains closed with no active clearing.
Partially open. Snow clearing has progressed through Lake Alpine — the road is now open to 0.6 miles west of Lake Alpine. The road beyond that point toward the pass summit remains closed. Active clearing operations continue.
Sonora Pass opened for the 2026 season on April 30 at 10:00 AM.
Partially open. SR 120 from Lee Vining to the Yosemite National Park boundary is now fully open with no Caltrans restrictions. Tioga Road inside the park remains closed with no estimated opening date — initial clearing is complete but the road has repeatedly needed to be re-plowed due to new storms.
Open. Upper Rock Creek Road is now open for the season.
CA 168 above Aspendell is open all the way to Lake Sabrina. North Lake Road is now open to the Day Use Parking Lot. South Lake Road is also open to the lake.
