Open. All wilderness trailheads are accessible and fully stocked with summit passes, wilderness permits, and wag-bags. The Everitt Memorial Highway is fully open to the Old Ski Bowl. Panther Meadows campground is open. Climbing conditions are in late-season decline — all outfitter-guide operations have ended south and west-side trips. Avalanche Gulch (AG) remains climbable and still holds snow, but rockfall is a significant and increasing hazard as snowmelt exposes more bare rock. If you choose to climb, the Left of Heart variation at Redbanks is the safest option. Exercise extra caution in the upper 3,000 feet where all major hazards concentrate.
Open. The Lassen Volcanic Park Highway (CA 89) is fully open to vehicles for the 2026 season. All four road sections are open to both vehicles and non-motorized use. Popular stops including Summit Lake, Kings Creek Falls, and the Devastated Area are accessible. Use caution on the Lassen Peak Trail — snow-covered sections remain and trekking poles or boot spikes are recommended. The Juniper Lake Campground is temporarily closed for maintenance improvements; the Juniper Lake Road (access to the lake and trailheads) remains open.
Open. SR 4/Ebbetts Pass is open with no pass restrictions.

Open to top. The area is in full summer operation. Check current fire restrictions in the Bridgeport Ranger District before your visit.
Open. SR 108/Sonora Pass is fully open with no traffic restrictions reported.
Open. Tioga Road (SR 120) is fully open to all traffic with no restrictions reported.
Open to Mosquito Flat. The road is open to the Mosquito Flat trailhead, but the section above Mosquito Flat toward the pack station remains closed due to snow.
Open. CA 168 is fully open with no restrictions. The mountain road above Aspendell is open all the way to Lake Sabrina; North Lake Road is open to the Day Use Parking Lot; South Lake Road is open to the lake.
